About us
A Singapore family collection of old wild agarwood, inherited with a love for its history and character.
A story passed
from father to son.
My interest in agarwood began as a boy in the 1970s, following my late father through Singapore’s Sungei Road flea market. Among the stalls of agarwood and sandalwood, I began to discover a material that would become a lifelong interest.
The pieces in this collection were inherited from my father. To me, they hold more than fragrance: they carry family memories, the character of the forest and a place in the traditions of Asia. Preserving them is a way of keeping that connection alive.
Through wild-agarwood.com, I hope to share these pieces with fellow collectors and academics, and see them appreciated by generations to come. I have also donated specimens to the Singapore Herbarium at the Singapore Botanic Gardens to support future study. Collectors and researchers are warmly welcome to exchange knowledge and discuss the collection.
